Once a month (January-March!), we will gather at the Theater Raleigh Studios for a two hour workshop designed to support you in building your performance from your toes to your tassels. Many burlesque classes focus on the moves and rhinestones— this will be a space to explore the “how.” How you want to feel on and off stage, how to build an act you actually love performing, and how to bring your burlesque persona’s sensuality and power into your daily life!

Workshops will cover

• tools of character development

• nervous system support

• practices for building a solid act from the ground up

• bringing embodied pleasure + play to the performance and choreography process

and so much more!

You’ve left the stage a sensual sorcerer! Now you want to bring this authentic self to all the most intimate parts of your life– but how? What if you had a space to do just that? A space where you could ask big questions with self-compassion, rehearse big conversations with your values at the center, and work to build relationships centered in radical authenticity and pleasure? 

Intimacy, communication, gender and sexuality are core parts of who we are, but—spoiler ahead!—we live in a world that makes us nervous (even ashamed) to approach these parts of ourselves, especially if we move through society in marginalized bodies. But not here. 

In these one hour coaching sessions, we’ll:

• Get to know your most authentic self and identify the places where you want to grow. You’re the expert on you– your intimate and sexual goals will be our guide.

• Next, we’ll reflect on what may be blocking you from reaching the vibrant, connected, and pleasurable life you crave. 

• We’ll workshop some new approaches to these challenges, explore education + resources to fuel your journey, and use these tools to create the life you deserve.

• Rinse + Repeat.

You don’t have to create alone! Here is where you bring your act—whether it's a whisper of a concept or a favorite that you want to take deeper—and we get to playing!

We’ll brainstorm, get to know the world of your act, explore movement that feels delicious, and bring out your specific full-bodied burly magic. All while having fun! Because creativity and play are besties.
